Ownership and roles
Four different jobs are easy to blur; we keep them separate on purpose:
- Legal owner
- The entity that owns the business or brand.
- Operator
- The entity that runs it day to day — not always the owner.
- Seller of record
- For anything sold, the entity named on the transaction.
- Developer
- The group company that built a product, credited separately from ownership.
This surface, from the registry
The corporate hub’s own facts, rendered from the versioned ownership
registry (baseline 2026-09-17, schema
v2.0, build mode release).
Every field below is owner-approved (2026-09-18, evidence U02/U03/U05).
Fields without owner approval would render with an explicit
not-for-publication marker — never as a guessed value.
